AlmaLinux 8 Now Available on Dedicated Servers

We are happy to announce that AlmaLinux is now available to deploy with Dedicated Servers. AlmaLinux 8.3 has just been added to the available OS templates for Dedicated servers. This template is available for immediate deployment and can be selected from the “OS Reinstall” menu in the Server Panel for existing servers.

What’s new in AlmaLinux?

Below is a list of notable changes/new features:

  • Matches the current RHEL release 1:1
  • Effortless transition from CentOS, with minimal investment and no software changes
  • AlmaLinux plans to offer 8.x release support commitment through 2029
  • Forever free and open-source: no licenses, no usage restrictions, freely re-distributable
